If you are planning a childs’ birthday party we have some ideas to help things run a little smoother. When it comes to potential for stressful logistics, kids’ parties rank second to weddings! We’re here to give you some helpful guidance and inspiration for the little ones big day.
Choosing a Theme they will love
Picking the theme for your child’s party can be fairly easy if they have a particular TV programme or fictional character they love. Is your little one mad for Thomas the Tank Engine, or crazy for In The Night Garden? If you know their favourite show it’s a great place to start. Party goods for specific programmes can usually be found on Amazon or Ebay UK.
If your child loves a good magic trick, base the theme around black hats, tricks and rabbits. Or if they love farmyard animals, pirates or zoo beasts I am sure there is plenty to choose from!

Kid Friendly Entertainment
A magician will always be a classic favourite with small children. The sheer excitement of the unknown creates a great and memorable experience for them. Hiring a clown is also very popular, what child doesn’t love balloon modelling and silly gags? You could also do your own party games including the old classics; pin the tail on the donkey, musical statues, musical chairs and so on.
Because entertainment is an important aspect I would advise checking out what dates they are free before setting a date for the party, so to avoid disappointment. Once booked get all the invites out promptly so it’s a great turn out! We have a huge range of childrens party invitations on our website.

Food & Drink
Little ones don’t eat too much so no need to go overboard- small snacks such as fresh veg & dips, crisps, finger sandwiches and fruit will be enough for their little tummies. If you want to jazz the food up here are some great ideas…
We hope you have a very enjoyable party planning experience!
